Kenneth E. Records, a long time resident of Milton-
Freewater, died suddenly at home, Monday, Sept. 19,
2016. Kenneth was born in Freewater, on Oct. 23,
1934, to Dean and Dorothy Records. He graduated
from McLoughlin High School, Whitman College,
and member of Sigma Chi. He served in the U.S.
Army. Ken directed and performed in many plays, an
avid gardener, cook, carpenter, great story teller, and
a mentor to the youth in Milton-Freewater.
Ken is survived by his wife, Joan of Milton-Freewater;
daughters, Elizabeth and Susan; two grandchildren,
Mack and Katie; brother, Norman Records
(Holly). Preceding him in death were his parents.
Family and friends are welcome to attend graveside
services, Friday, Sept. 23, at 10 a.m., Milton-Freewater
Cemetery. Celebration of life services will be held
Friday, Sept. 23, at 11 a.m., at Walla Walla Presbyterian
Church, 1st and Birch St.
