Keith Charles Vickere

Keith Vickere passed away September 13, 2017, at Park Manor Rehabilitation.

Keith was born December 18, 1952, in Seattle, Washington to parents Gordon Vickere and Wreatha Hodgen.

Keith enlisted in the Coast Guard July 18, 1972, leaving in 1976. He met and married his first wife Herine when he was stationed in Majuro, Marshall Islands. The early years of married life were spent in Seattle where his daughter Cathleen was born. It was shortly later when they moved to Milton-Freewater to settle in Umapine, to later welcome son Stanley. He worked for the Army Corp of Engineers in Walla Walla and Umatilla, the VA Hospital in Walla Walla, and security work in his later years.

Keith was a quiet and reserved man. He loved spending time with his parents and children. He loved to draw and paint, as well as garden.

He is survived by his two children, Cathleen and Stanley; brothers, Dallas Witty and Larry Trump; sisters, Wanda Steele and Donna Moore.

Memorial Service will be held September 30, 2017, at 10AM at the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla WA.
