Keith was born in Soda Springs, Idaho, on April 3, 1924, oldest son of Tura Fisher Croshaw Hadley and Louis Elmer Hadley. As a young boy, his family moved to Alameda, Idaho, where he attended school and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1942.

Keith pursued and enjoyed many talents and hobbies, one of which was helping his family and friends and neighbors whenever called upon.  Upon graduation in 1942, he attended one year at the University of Idaho before being drafted into the U.S. Army during WWII.  He served in the 100th Infantry Company H for two years, ten months, and was active duty in Europe.  He was honorably discharged in 1946, and upon his return to Idaho he continued his education at the University of Idaho graduating in 1949, as a Civil Engineer.  He began working at the US Army Corps of Engineers, in Walla Walla when they opened their office in 1949.  He was a specification writer on many projects.  During his tenure at the Corps, he had the opportunity to travel and work throughout the U.S. and Japan.  One of the highlights of his employment with the Corps was working and living in Italy for 8 years with his family and traveling to more than 33 countries.  In 1972, Keith and his family returned from Italy to Walla Walla, where he continued employment at the corps, retiring in 1987, having completed 42 years of service.

On August 18, 1953, Keith married Echo Dell Parkin of Pocatello, Idaho, in the LDS Idaho Falls Temple. They began their married life in Walla Walla.  They were blessed with three children: Alan (Kathyrn) Keith Hadley, Teresa Linn Hadley, and Brent (Rori) Louis Hadley, who blessed Keith and Echo’s lives with 12 grandchildren, and 17 (plus two expected) greatgrandchildren.  He deeply loved his wife and family and was extremely proud of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Earl Hadley and Wayne Hadley. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Dennis Hadley.
