Katherine Louise Mitchell

Katherine Louise Mitchell, 47, passed away at her home in Walla Walla, Washington after a long battle with breast cancer.

Katherine was born August 13, 1965 in Tacoma, Washington. Her parents are Fred & Marcia Dummler Mitchell. She attended Walla Walla area schools & received her GED from Walla Walla Community College. Kathie was an avid reader & loved her Chihuahua, Sophie. She was a member of the Amazing Grace Church of the Nazarene.

Kathie is survived by her parents, Fred Mitchell of Walla Walla, WA & Marcia & Harold Lee of Kingsport, TN; son, Thomas Nathaniel Trout of Walla Walla, WA; daughter, Alexandria Katherine Cook of Kingsport, TN; sister & brother-in-law, Jenny & Bill Richardson of Walla Walla, WA and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred & Berniece Mitchell, Dorothy & Edward Hein and Bill & Lorraine Dummler.

The family wishes to say a special thank you to Dr. Quackenbush & the St. Mary Regional Cancer Center Staff for all they did for Kathie during her illness. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The Memorial Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Amazing Grace Church of the Nazarene Church with Rev. Ron Alexander officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Mountain Humane Society or the St. Mary Regional Cancer Center through Professional Funeral Directors & Crematory, 2112 S. 2nd Ave, Walla Walla, WA.
