Karen Spence

Karen Spence was born to James H.
Spence and the late Nola M. Spence and grew up in Walla Walla along with her siblings; Kim, Marc, Jon and Todd. She attended Berney, Pioneer and Walla Walla High School, graduating in 1981.

Karen enjoyed the outdoors. She snowmobiled and mushroomed at the family cabin near Tollgate. She
loved white water rafting with her dad and doing yard sales with her mother. Karen especially loved her pets through the years, dogs and cats were her favorite companions.

Karen spent many hours cheering on her favorite drivers in NASCAR and hydroplane races. Over the years she held various jobs — a flagger, cashier and home health caretaker.

Karen is survived by her father, Jim; sister and brother-
in-law, Al and Kim Schneidmiller; brothers, Jon and Todd; niece and great-niece, Kayla and Jacquelynn
Cross; nephews, Levi Cross and Jimmy Spence.

There will be a graveside service with family and friends Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at 3 p.m. at the Mountain View Cemetery on Second Avenue.
