June Arlene Cummings

Born on June 22, 1925 in Spokane, Washington & passed away peacefully on January 26, 2013 in Walla Walla, Washington at Park Manor Rehabilitation Center. She was the last of 16 children born to Ellis & the 3rd child of Francis Cruger. June married Raymond August Czenkusch and they later divorced. They had one child.

After moving to Walla Walla to be near her daughter, she married James M. Cummings and they worked together in the Moose Lodge in West Richland, Washington. They returned to Walla Walla to retire.

She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Buddy & Eileen (Anderson) Davis; 4 grandchildren, Brenda Anderson, David Mark (Dina) Anderson, Terri (Tom) McMakin all of Walla Walla, Tami Bailey of Spokane,; 12 great grandchildren; a brother, Paul Cruger of Colville, WA and many nieces & nephews. Preceding her in death is her husband, James M. Cummings; her parents; 5 brothers & 10 sisters.

Private services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Walla Walla Community Hospice through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA.
