Joyce Marie Watts

Joyce Marie Watts passed away in Walla Walla WA on January 8, 2024, at the age of 90. She was born to Mary (Winter) and Louis Metcalf on November 24, 1933, in Hamilton MT. She married Donald Watts (deceased) in 1952 and together they had four children; Teresa (deceased), Sherry, Adrienne, and Stephen. She is survived by three sisters and two brothers: James Metcalf, Alice Heagy, Lyle Gift, Carol Webberly, and Christine Vos.

Over her life, Joyce was a stay-at-home mom, Licensed Vocational Nurse, and Registered Nurse. She loved to cook, sew, and spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She had an extensive collection of porcelain dolls that she and Don fired in a small kiln, and that she painted and dressed. She made many beautiful quilts and hanging artworks that she shared with her family.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 AM on January 22, 2024, at the Chapel of the Herring Funeral Home, 315 W Alder St, Walla Walla WA. Following the service, a luncheon will be held at the Walla Walla City Adventist Church at 2133 Howard St.
