Joshua Lee Shelley died October 19, 2018, from injuries sustained in a vehicle hit and run incident.

Born February 23, 1987, in Walla Walla, Josh was a lifetime resident of Dixie, Washington.  He attended Dixie Elementary School, Pioneer Middle School, and graduated from Paine High School in 2007.  Josh had a tremendous love of music and singing - he had an amazing voice and a natural talent for teaching himself to play multiple instruments such as piano and guitar.  He was also an avid pool player and sports fan.

Josh was preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Schuster; his grandfather, Larry Shelley; and his stepbrother, Matthew Kroeger.  He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Lisa and Jeff Davis; his father and stepmother Chuck and Anne Shelley; his brother Nathan Shelley; his stepbrothers Brent and Jonathon Kroeger; his grandparents Carlene Pawlik, Jim Schuster, Kathy and Ron Dixon, Bill and Linda McClure, Sandi Martuscelli, and Cora Davis; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  He was dearly loved and his loss will touch us all.

A celebration of life will be held at 150 3rd Street, Dixie, WA  99329 on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 4 PM.

To honor Josh's love of music and children, donations may be made to the Walla Walla Symphony Rock Camp (a rock and roll camp for teens) through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder St. Walla Walla, WA.
