Joseph Charles Wilson passed away at Regency at The Park on Sept. 22, 2012.
He was born on Jan. 14, 1930, to Charles M. and Lucy Moss Wilson.
He married Karen Clayton on June 8, 1998, in Coeur D’Alene, Ida.
He was a truck driver for Convoy for 30 years and hauled new cars all over, like Montana and other
states. He drove 2 million miles in 31 years with no accidents. He was a proud member of the Walla Walla Elks Lodge for 39 years, Eagles of Auburn, Wash. for
27 years, and Teamsters Union. He loved his dogs and especially his dog Cody.
Graveside services will be held on Oct. 2, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Mountain View Cemetery with Rev. Steve Morris from Walla Walla Alliance Church officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Mountain Humane Society through the Herring Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Wilson, at the home; three sons, Stephen J. Wilson of Japan, Scott
A. Wilson of Calif., Joseph Wilson Jr. of Union, Wash.; three step-sons, Shannon Thomas, Puyallup, Wash., Michael Staudenmaier, Walla Walla, Jeff Staudenmaier, Sisters, Ore; sisters, Betty Plaquet, Walla Walla, Mary Jane Turfey, Auburn, Wash.; sister-in-law, Patty
and Roy Powell; numerous grandchildren and great
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son, Glen
“Poke” Wilson; two sisters, Helen Haste and Bonnie Fernandes.
