Joe enjoyed spending time with his family; especially watching his grandchildren play sports and perform in their local drum corps. He was an avid sports fan with a fervent loyalty to Michigan teams. He liked to travel and was a voracious reader, who at one point had read every mystery book in the Livingston County Library system.

After a long battle with various health issues, Joe passed away on July 8, 2013. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his grandson, Marcus Tyler, his brother, Russ Morgan and brother, Bill Morgan.

Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, Joe will be greatly missed by his wife, his children, grandchildren, extended family and friends.
