John E Chalmers

John E. Chalmers lost his battle with cancer on May 6, 2017. He is survived by wife Jenny, daughters Becky, Anna, Kelly and son John, their spouses, 4 granddaughters. 2 grandson in laws, and a beautiful great grandson, sister Patricia Houghton and brother Bruce and Susan Chalmers.
He was a career Air Force Air Traffic Controller, recipient of the Bronze Star in Vietnam, followed by a career in sales. His second love was golf. He knew where every golf course was in Washington along with every bakery, third love was sweets. He had a wonderful sense of humor, always telling jokes and laughing a lot. He was so loved and respected by all who knew him. He will be missed.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 At 2:00PM at the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA 99362. A reception will follow at the Veterans Memorial Golf Course.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Providence St. Mary Regional Cancer Center through the funeral home.
