Jerald Joseph Kelly

Jerald Joseph Davin Kelly died peacefully January 24th, 2017 in Lodi, CA. He was born in Prosser WA on September 6, 1927 to John and Bertha Davin Kelly, and raised in Walla Walla. He attended Walla Walla Catholic schools and Gonzaga University. He had a 30+ year career with the Walla Walla Corps of Engineers. He married Margaret (Marmie) Helen Nibler on January 26, 1952; they raised their seven children in Walla Walla. Dad was predeceased by his parents, his sister Dorothy and his beloved wife, Marmie. He is survived by his seven children, their spouses, his five grandchildren, his dear friend Arline Ware, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Dad loved golf, reading, sports and time with his family, especially the annual trips to the Oregon Coast. He moved to Lodi CA to be closer to family in 2012, and enjoyed his time there very much.

The family will remember him on February 25th with a graveside service at the Blue Mountain Cemetery at 11 am; family and friends welcome.

Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11:00AM at Mountain View Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home.
