Jane Eloise Husted

Jane Husted passed away Aug. 15,
2013, after a long illness.

She was born June 28, 1935, in Schuyler,
Neb. She married Donald Husted on June 24,
1955.

She is survived by Donald Husted; children,
Daniel, James, Thomas, Cheryl and John Husted;
brothers, Michael Jonas of Georgia and Edwin Jonas
Jr. of Slidell, La.; grandchildren, Leslee Husted-
Piercy, Megan Husted, Rebecca and Tyler Verda,
Elizabeth and Mackenzie Husted, Audrey and Diane
Husted. She was predeceased by her parents, Edwin
and Geneva Jonas; brothers, Richard, David, William
Jonas; and sister, Linda Lavelle.

Jane was a precious soul who touched the lives
of many. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother,
grandmother and true friend. Her gentle spirit, kindness
and giving nature blessed us all. She loved her
family without limitations.

She was a great teacher,
beginning in a small country school in South Dakota.
Her teaching skills and faith in the Lord carried on
by setting examples of love, kindness and forgiveness
to everyone.

A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday,
Aug. 20, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Herring-Grosclose Funeral
Home, 315 W. Alder. Afterwards, friends and family
are invited to the home of Cheryl Husted for a lunch
