Jane Coronado passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Friday, November 7, 2025. Jane was born to Marcos and Catalina (Arevalo) Coronado in Walla Walla, WA, on April 22, 1966, Jane was the second youngest of twelve children.
Jane was deeply committed to her future and her career. She began working at Banner Bank at the age of 25 and devoted 34 years to the company, ultimately serving as Senior Small Business Loan Underwriter. Her long tenure and advancement stand as a true testament to her dedication, integrity, and exceptional work ethic.
Jane found great joy in exploring the world, having traveled to many remarkable places over the years with friends and family, the more the merrier in her eyes! Jane had a true appreciation for evenings out with any friend or family to enjoy good food and drink, live music, and laughter. Deeply connected to her community, Jane was an active participant in local clubs and groups, always showing up with a welcoming spirit. Jane cherished her four-legged companions and had several along her journey that she was blessed to love on.
Above all, Jane cherished her family deeply-her parents and siblings who helped shape her, just as she helped shape them. She showed her love in remarkable ways, giving each niece and nephew a profound sense of belonging and making them feel uniquely treasured. The same was true for her dear friends she welcomed as family, whom she embraced with equal warmth and devotion. Jane’s life was defined by relationships she nurtured, and her legacy lives on in the countless hearts she touched.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents Marcos and Catalina, four siblings, Roy, Armando, Olga, Elva, and one nephew, Matthew. She is survived by seven siblings: Francis Zuniga, Mary Garcia, Rosa Coronado, Martin Coronado, Letty Lemus, Gilbert Coronado, Elizabeth Coronado, along with several, several nieces and nephews, and her last pup Mannie.
Her services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025. The funeral will begin at 10:30am Herring Funeral Home, graveside at 12:00pm at Mt View Cemetery, followed by a Celebration of Life reception at 1:00pm at the Walla Walla Country Club. Guests are welcome to attend any or all gatherings, according to what is most comfortable and meaningful for them. Your presence in any way is deeply appreciated.
