James Henry Terrells

James Henry Terrells Sr. passed away on April 20, 2016. He was born to the late Jesse Lee Terrells and the late Sedalia Ellis on Sept. 15, 1947, in Buckeye, Ariz. James was the eldest of nine siblings.
James went to New Mexico State University and then on to Cal State L.A., both on football scholarships.
He and his wife Helen Terrells (Smith) moved to Walla Walla, in 1972 where he worked a few years at the Washington State Penitentiary. He then went on to work for Pacific Power and Light Company where he retired.
James enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; and children, Sharon Miller, James Terrells, Jr., and Kimberly Terrells; his brothers, Russell Ellis, Lonnie L. Ellis, Bobby J. Ellis, Willie Ellis and Ricky Ellis; one
sister, Lee Ester Ellis. He is preceded in death by his his three siblings, Chester Ellis Jr., Betty Jean Ellis and Lawrence Ellis.
