Irene Tabbert Waddell

IRENE TABBERT WADDELL
September 11, 1920—February 25, 2012

Irene was born on September 11, 1920 in Chisholm, Minnesota to William & Winifred Harker Tabbert. Irene grew up on a farm outside Rugby, North Dakota and graduated from Rugby High School in 1938.

She moved to California and lived most of her life there. She loved dancing, car trips Wii Bowling and spending time with her family.

She passed away in her sleep at her daughter’s home in Walla Walla, Washington where she had been living since 2009.

She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Donna & Rick Beauchesne of Walla Walla; two grandsons, one in Sacramento, CA & one in Chicago, IL; one great grandson attending Oregon State University and one great granddaughter in Sacremento.

She will be buried with her parents, William & Winifred Harker Tabbert in Long Beach, CA. Funeral arrangements are being made through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice through the funeral home.
