In loving memory of Gladys Marie Summerfield born on June 13, 1931 to January 26, 2014 who was a loving, caring, open hearted person. She worked at the Marcus Whitman and the Walla Walla Worm Ranch. Marie will be missed by her family & friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Christine Walker (Hermiston); her sons, Glen Ballard (Walla Walla), David Ballard (Walla Walla), Garrett Summerfield (Walla Walla); 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison Summerfield; a son, Gerald Ballard; her parents; 4 brothers & 1 sister.
Viewing & visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA. The Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Blue Mountain Memorial Gardens.
