Gilbert T. Pedraza

Gilbert, 50, passed away on January 29, 2015 in home after a year-long battle against lymphoma. He was preceded in death by his father Arturo Pedraza, his mother Catalina Pedraza.

Gilbert was born, 1964, in Santa Clara del cobre, Michoacan, Mexico. He came to the USA when he was 22. He met the love of his life Amy in 1990, and resided in Walla Walla, WA with her since. He is survived by: his wife, Amy Pedraza; his three children, Michael, Christopher and Emily; his four brothers, Jose Antonio, Francisco, Pedro and Jose Luis; and his four sisters, Concepcion, Elitania, Jaqueline, and Luz Maria.

Gilbert attended Walla Walla, Community College and graduated with HVAC certification. He was employed at St. Mary’s Medical Hospital, where he happily worked for 10 years. Gilbert enjoyed coaching girls’ soccer and softball for several years. His family was his life they; meant everything to him.

The Memorial Service for Gilbert Pedraza will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the First Assembly of God located at 1919 Fern Ave, Walla Walla, WA. Please join Gilbert’s family to celebrate and honor his life. There will be a reception following the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Gilbert Pedraza Memorial Fund through the funeral home.
