Gerald "Jerry" Fowler Mccarley

Gerald "Jerry" McCarley, dedicated husband, father of two, and friend to many passed away on November 8, 2022, at the age of 79 in Walla Walla, WA.

He was born and raised in Ohio and graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where he met his college sweetheart and wife of 56 years.

Jerry loved an adventure; his travels included Ireland, Spain, Turkey, Croatia, Denmark and his beloved Italy. Perennially guided by good meals and great deals, he was eager to involve family and friends in his quest to "Eat well. Travel often." Jerry saw the world. Perhaps his most intrepid adventure was a one-man voyage of connected flights circumnavigating the globe in a fortnight. Aboard a cruise ship with family or solo was his happy place.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Judy of Walla Walla, son Michael of Portland, and granddaughter Maisie of Eugene.
