Gary Allen Bunch

Gary Allen Bunch (Papa) passed away Nov. 19, 2015, peacefully at his home in Dixie, surrounded by loving family. Born on Nov. 3, 1949 in Yakima Washington, to Clifton Bunch, and Lorraine Amston-Moran.

Survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia Ann Bunch; as well as one brother; three sisters; three children; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

His family moved to the Walla Walla area in the 1960s. In 1974 he graduated Walla Walla Community College and started his own construction business in 1975. He was a Vietnam veteran in the Army and served our country from 1967 -1971.

He was an avid hunter and collector of many things. Always lending a hand or an ear to family, friends, neighbors, or even a stranger, he has made his way into many of our hearts. He will be missed but his spirit will always remain within us all.

The family will have a private graveside, a celebration of life will be held after at the Walla Walla VFW on Wednesday Dec. 2, 2015, from 4- 6pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Veteran’s Medical Research Foundation through the Herring Groseclose Funeral home.
