Gale Ford Petersen passed away at her home in Portland on April 3, 2018, after an extended illness following a stroke.
Gale was born Aug. 3, 1949, in Cheyenne, Wyo. The family moved to Walla Walla when she was four years old. She attended Assumption Grade School and graduated from DeSales High School.
Gale is survived by her mother, Sharon Ford; four sisters, Deborah, Heather, Dawn and Jennifer; two brothers, Mike and Stephen; two sons, Peter and Greg; and daughter, Jessica. Preceded in death by brother, Jeff Ford; and father, Dale Ford.
Rosary will be July 1, 2018 at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass will be July 2, 2018 at 10 a.m., both will be held at Assumption Church. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Reception will be held at Assumption Church after the internment.
