Frances Elizabeth Smith

Frances Elizabeth Smith, 91, died October 3, 2025, at Providence St. Mary Medical Center. Frances was born on May 7, 1934, to Freeman and Gladys Polston in St. Francisville, Illinois.

She is survived by her son, Dale Smith; sister, Sarah Kathryn Reeves; brothers, LeRoy Polston and John Polston; and her grandchild, Sarah Smith. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald Smith; sister, Dolorse Mae Morrical; and brother, Porter Polston.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at Mountain View Cemetery with pastor Kevin Congrove officiating.
