Frances Rosine Hansen

Frances Rosine (Widman) Hansen died at the age of 90.

She was born to Elmer K. Widman and Edna (Feldman) Widman, owners of a wheat farm near Rosalia, WA. Frances graduated from Rosalia High School in 1945 and then attended Kinman Business School in Spokane. She then joined her sister Betty in Walla Walla. There Frances met Alvin Hansen and on June 7, 1947, they were married in Rosalia.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Deborah Rosebrook; and her son, David Hansen and their spouses; plus eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at Blue Mountain Memorial Gardens in College Place at 11 a.m. on April 7, 2018.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder St. Walla Walla, WA.
