nursing home in Walla Walla.
Frances, also known as “Panchita,” was born Sept.
20, 1928, in Donna, Texas, to George and Dolores Morales.
During the early years of her life she traveled with her family to various locations to work in the fields.
She
met her husband, Pedro, in Toppenish, Wash., where they were later married on Oct. 19, 1952. Frances

Frances is survived by two daughters and a son-inlaw, Mary Ann Armijo and Irma and Craig Richards of Walla Walla; granddaughter, Christlina Rittenhouse of Tacoma; and three step-grandchildren, Spencer Richards, Sam Richards and Mac Richards of Walla
Walla; a sister, Mary Helen Morales of California.
She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, two sisters, two daughters and one son.
