Elisa Carol Lovrak, 46, passed away suddenly on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014, but is now rejoicing in Heaven with her mom and our Lord and Savior. Born Dec. 5, 1967, in Puyallup, Wash., Elisa was the second of three children of Frank and Marilyn True. Elisa graduated from Butler High School in Huntsville, Ala., in 1986 and from Northwest College in Kirkland, Wash., in 1991.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Jon Lovrak, and two children, Curtis and Will Lovrak. She is also survived by her grandfather, Ralph Johnson; father, Frank (Margaret) True; brother, Eric (Valerie) True; sister, TaeJa (Marshall) Kirkpatrick; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and in-laws.
Elisa was blessed with many talents and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, spinning yarn, painting and cooking. But most of all she enjoyed giving to so many as an act of Godly service.
An open invitation for viewing will be held on Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Herring Groseclose Funeral Home. A private burial service for family members will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Mountain View Cemetery in Walla Walla). A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at Life Church, 116, S. Third Ave., Walla Walla, with a reception concluding the services. Flowers and cards may be sent to the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, funds may be donated in Elisa’s name to support World Vision and many children around the globe in which she supported for many years.
