Eileen May Englerth

Eileen M. Englerth, 98 passed away, October 1, 2011 at the Park Manor Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her family.

Eileen was born in Seattle, WA on September 1, 1913. She attended Seattle area schools and graduated from there in 1930. She moved to Walla Walla in the early 1940’s and was married to Lonnie W. Englerth December 1, 1945. The couple had two children, Mary and Mark.

Eileen was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church and was an active member with the St. Anne’s Alter Society and a volunteer at the St. Mary Hospital gift shop for many years. She and her husband were avid golfers and belonged to the Veterans Memorial Golf Club.

Viewing and Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 from 4:00PM until 8:00 PM at the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home; 315 W. Alder St. Walla Walla, WA 99362. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain View Cemetery with Father Tyler Smedley, celebrating. Memorial contributions may be made to Walla Walla Community Hospice through the Funeral Home.
