Walla Walla-Edwin S Hendricksen went to meet Jesus on March 8, 2024, at Regency Rehabilitation Center. He was born on February 19, 1926, in Adams, OR. The son of Ben and Ida Hendricksen. He grew up on the family homestead in Adams. He served in the US Army during World War II. In 1952, he married Donna Foss. They began their life together in Pendleton, OR, and eventually settled in Walla Walla, where they have lived for 62 years. They celebrated 71 years of marriage last June. Ed retired from Boise Cascade after 34 years and continued to farm the family homestead.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters and Five brothers. Surviving in addition to his wife, Donna (Foss) Hendricksen, is his daughter, Trudi Terletter (Rick) of Monroe, WA; three Grandchildren, Angel Goodin (John), Jeremy Terletter, and Dawn Whitaker; nine Great-Grandchildren; one sister, Wanita; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at the Walla Walla Presbyterian Church, 325 S 1st Ave, Walla Walla. He loved sowing seeds of all kinds and will be greatly missed.
