Earl was born September 1, 1945 to Max and Grace Records, in Umapine , Oregon.  He attended grade school in Umapine and later in Milton-Freewater, when the family moved to the farm on Records Lane.

Earl served in the National Guard unit in Milton-Freewater for 2 years, and was employed by Walla Walla Grain Growers.  Earl married Wanda Griffin on December 29, 1978.

He loved to fish and hunt, and was a great bowler.  Bowling a perfect 300 at the bowling alley on 2nd Street in Walla Walla.  After retiring in 2001 from the Grain Growers, he took up wood turning and became an accomplished quilter.

Earl is survived by his wife at home.  Brothers: Lyle and Roger (Joan) Records Sisters: Susan Gundlach and Edna "Eddie" (Ken) Walker.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ron Jungles, Vern Records, Lynn Records and infant sister Jeanie Records.
