Our dearly loved father, father- in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and husband passed away October 21, 2018.

Doug is the son of David Alexander Taylor and Helen Frances Offner. Education: graduated from Walla Walla High School and attended Menlo College. Doug as a businessman ran his Pioneer Car Wash for over 40 years.

Throughout Doug’s life favorite things to do with his friends were his daily morning coffee group of over 60 years, poker parties and playing golf. Doug was a member of the Walla Walla Country Club, Exchange Club, the 4 Season’s Club and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church where he was a member of the choir for over 50 years.

Doug lived a life that made a difference. He was a very happy, positive, funny man and a friend to all. Quite the joke teller!

Doug leaves behind his best friend and loving wife of 62 years, Doreen (Mathison) Taylor; son, David Taylor; daughter, Shannon Agan; David’s children, Hannah and Malory, Malory is married to Jeff Bishop with three children, Lilly, Jensen and Camden; Shannon who is married to J. McGregor Agan have two children, Alex and Molly.

A reception will be held November 10, from 1:30-3:30 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church’s Father Campbell Hall. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 31 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA.
