Dorothy Lee Waldron

Dorothy Lee Waldron 85, passed away peacefully in her home, March 12, 2024. Dorothy was born in Walla Walla WA to Edward and Elizabeth Schulke.

Dorothy married Tom Wade and they had three children: Bonnie, Ronnie and Constance. They divorced and Dorothy met and married the love of her life Sam Waldron. They had one son, Sam Waldron Jr. Dorothy dedicated her life to being a wonderful, supportive mother and homemaker. She worked side by side with Sam in his horse business until his death. Dorothy loved her dogs Heather, Cassie, Doobie and Gracie. She also loved anything and everything about horses. Dorothy was a past member of the international Arabian Horse Association, The American Quarter Horse Association, The American Paint Horse Association, The Pioneer Posse and The Wagon Wheelers. She was also a great supporter of the 4H program. Dorothy loved stream fishing with Sam. She was the queen of yard sales! Collecting treasures, repairing, and reselling them at her own ginormous yard sales twice a year.

Dorothy was preceded in death by all five of her siblings, Patty Jane Schulke, Tom Schulke, Shirley Waldron, Mary Lou Wolfe and Jim Schulke; her husband, Sam; daughter, Connie Britton; grandsons, Chris Britton and Derek Wade.

She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Hamlin (Wayne), Ron Wade (Ruth) Sam Waldron Jr. (Linda) as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

A viewing and visitation will be held Thursday, March 21, from 11am-6pm, at the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on, Friday, March 22, 2024, at 11am, at Mountain View Cemetery, Walla Walla WA.

The family requests that donations be made to Walla Walla Humane Society in lieu of flowers through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W Alder St, Walla Walla WA 99362. In addition, friends and family are invited to sign the online guestbook at www.herringgroseclose.com..
