Dorla Jane Nelson

Dorla Jane Nelson went home to the Lord on February 10, 2019, at the age on 88.

Born on December 6, 1930, in Winamac, Indiana to Clarence and Cleo Linback; she was the second oldest of 12 siblings.

She married Winford Buckley on January 3, 1951 and had two daughters, Kim and Tami. On October 6, 1990, she married Lawrence Nelson and spent the last 28 years on their ranch raising cattle, goats, chickens and two grandchildren, Ricky and Samantha.

Dorla is survived by four siblings; her husband, Lawrence; two daughters; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and dog Twiggy.

A service is planned for February 23, at 12 p.m. at Herring Groseclose Funeral Home.

Donations can be made to the Odd Fellows Home, Walla Walla, in lieu of flowers in Dorla’s name.
