Delward C. Jones Jr.

Delward C. Jones Jr., 69, of Milton-Freewater passed on September 5, 2017 at his home.

Born January 29, 1948 to Delward C. and Melva Mae Hickey Jones Sr. Growing up he attended Milton-Freewater Schools, graduating class of 1966, later graduating from Portland State University with an Associate’s Degree. Then after graduation he joined the United States Army.

Delward loved to go fishing and camping, gambling and playing cards with family and friends. He loved being in talent shows and he usually won. He was a painter and ceramics. Once retired from Fred Meyers he made the most fantastic windows, everyone loved them. He was a collector of painting and antiques, also enjoying tennis and football.

He is survived by his sisters Meridel (Ed) Ferron of Dayton, WA., Linda (Mike) Fetcher of Dayton, WA., brother Tommy (Carol) Jones of Freemont, OH. Bernie Stuber of College Place, WA. and husband of deceased sister Leslee.
Proceeded in Death by his Parents Delward and Melva Jones Sr. and sister Leslee Stuber.

Delward loved being with his family and friends, he loved dogs and had his cat Keeper at home. He will be missed by all.

At his request no Service will be held. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Blue Mountain Human Society or the Walla Walla Community Hospice through the Professional Funeral Directors and Crematory.
