Deanne R Christy

Deanne ‘Deanie’ Rosemary Christy, Walla Walla, passed away January 12, 2019, at her home after long battle with cancer at the age of 53.

Memorial services will be Saturday, February 9, 2019, at 3 p.m. at Walla Walla University Church, Heubach Chapel.

Deanie was born in Monument Valley, Utah on an Indian reservation to Jerry and Rosemary Mason.

She is survived by her husband, Rob; and daughters, Courtney (Seattle) and Cami (Walla Walla); father and wife, Jerry and Martha Mason (Dayton); sister, Debbie (Spokane); and brother, David (TN).

She lived most of her life in California, attended Adventist schools and owned a MacFarlane’s Candy business in Sacramento at 23. Married in Sacramento in 1991 where both daughters were born. Moved to Walla Walla in 2005 and fell in love with the people and community. She was known for her smile, caring, and positive outlook.
