Deanna Gradwohl

Deanna Kay Gradwahl, beloved mother, grandmother,
great-grandmother and sister, passed away
peacefully at Park Manor Rehab Center in Walla
Walla on Sept. 2, 2016. She was 78 years old.
Deanna was born in Walla Walla on July 13, 1938,
to Walter and Elfrieda Gradwahl. Deanna moved
to Turlock, Calif., in 1964, where she worked for
Turlock Credit Bureau and Farmers Insurance. In
1978, she moved back to her hometown and was employed
by Les Schwab Tire Center and later by the
Elks Lodge. Deanna enjoyed the outdoors including
camping, riding quads, and spending time with family.
Her parents preceded Deanna in death. Survivors
include her children, Jeff (Debbie) Kennedy
of Modesto, Calif., and Brian (Kathy) Kennedy of
Turlock, Calif; grandsons, Jerrold and Grayson
Kennedy of Turlock; granddaughters, Julie Campbell
of Turlock, and Brianne Elston of Modesto; six
great-grandchildren; brother, Allan (Pat) Gradwahl
of Walla Walla, and partner, Bob Ruse.
The family would like to thank the staff at Park
Manor Rehab Center for their many kindnesses and
care of Deanna during the time she spent there. Private
services and burial pending.
Arrangements are through the Herring Groseclose
Funeral Home.
