David Byron Cook

January 30, 1930 — April 13, 2012

David B. Cook, passed away peacefully in his home in College Place on
April 13, 2012.

David was born in 1930, he grew up in College Place and Stateline.
After his service in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, he returned to College Place, where he attended Walla Walla College majoring in engineering. David and Virginia (Miller) McCoy were married in 1952.

He worked at the Veterans Memorial Hospital as a technical engineer until his retirement in 1982. Davis and his wife are members of the SDA Village Church family.

David is survived by his wife, Virginia; son and daughter in-law,
Gregory and Diana Cook; daughter and son in-law, Carrie and David
Bennett; brother and sister in-law, Leslie and Jeannie Cook; four
granddaughters, seven great-grandchildren and many longtime friends who are considered family.
The prayers and caring of all who have supported the family these past weeks (actually a lifetime) have made this journey possible. Thank you so much.

A memorial service will be held in the College Place Village Church on Saturday, May 12, at 2:30 p.m.
