Darlene Lorraine Jensen

Darlene Lorraine Jensen went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 13, 2013. She was born on August 28, 1942 in Sacramento, California. Even though she had on-going health issues most of her life, she was uncomplaining and sweet-spirited, finding joy in helping others. She most enjoyed sewing, cooking, canning, and making scripture bookmarks for missionaries.

Darlene graduated from high school in 1960 and married John Jensen that same year. Her focus was always on her family, especially her children, Cindy (Jensen) Wold, Susan (Jensen) Wright, and John Jensen, Jr. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan, and is survived by her loving, devoted husband, John, 10 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Viewing & visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla. The funeral will be held at Herring Groseclose Funeral Home on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 1:00 PM. with Andy Klassen officiating.
