Curtis Alan Nordman, 54, passed away
on May 2, 2015, at home in Umapine. He
was born on June 23, 1960, in Canyonville,
Ore., the son of Fred and Mary Nordman.

He married Barbara Tucholke on April 15, 1978,
in Walla Walla. They had three children together,
Christopher, Jamie and Eric. Curt had many trades,
he worked in the shake mills with his father driving
log trucks and semis, fabricating wood stoves and
farming. Curt loved sitting on his front porch smoking
his tobacco pipe, drinking Keystone Light, watching
the sunset. Friends remember BBQ’s by the fire
pit in the backyard. Curt was also an avid outdoorsman,
he loved fishing, camping and cutting wood, all
over Oregon. He never met anybody he did not want
to help, he was a very genuine person.

Curt was preceded in death by his mom, Mary; dad,
Fred; son, Christopher; and brother, Bill. He is survived
by his wife, Barbara; daughter, Jamie; son,
Eric; and brother, Brad.

Celebration of life will be May 30, 2015, 1 p.m., at
Freewater Odd Fellows/Rebekah Lodge, 209 N. Main,
Milton-Freewater.
