Concepcion Moreno Coronado

December 19, 1929 — March 18, 2017

College Place

God’s faithful servant, Concepcion M. Coronado, entered her eternal rest March 18, 2017. Concepcion was born December 19, 1925, in El Dorado, Kansas to Regino and Natividad Moreno.

She was married to Florentino Coronado. God’s abundance grace formed and sustained her as she fulfilled her major roles as wife and mother. We are left to cherish beautiful memories of our mother’s simple ways of teaching us about God’s love. To begin each day in the Name of Jesus. She deserves the crown of glory for countless hours of tender-loving-care and commitment to her family and friends; always lending a helping hand when needed.

She is survived by one son, Rejino; three daughters, Felicita, Walla Walla, Maria, Texas, Juanita (Raul) College Place; brother, Alfonso Moreno of Corpus Christi; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Pablo; and her loving sisters, Fidela Castillo, Aurora Tinoco, and Agapita Narvaez; brothers, Fidel and Lucio Moreno.

The family would like to thank those caregivers and Regency at the Park who help care for our mother and helped make her last years/days here on earth a more pleasant experience. Visitation will be held on March 30, 2017, at Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated March 31, 2017, at 2 p.m., at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made through Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA 99362. Friends and family are invited to sign the online guest book at www.herringgroseclose.com.
