Claudine M. Locati

Claudine Locati of Walla Walla, WA, passed away on the morning of August 10, 2025, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane.

Claudine was born on February 8, 1943, in Bellingham, WA. She married Robert Locati on March 6, 1976. She was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Locati of 49 years; her children, Ruth (& Doug) Lancaster, Tina Downing, Edgar Locati, Rob (& Gina) Locati, and Kristin Locati; her grandchildren, Serenity Olson, Kylie (& Austin) Brown, Haleigh (& Jason) Reid, Ben Downing, Jessica (& Austin) Baarstad, Joe Lancaster, Alex Locati, and Anthony Locati; and her great-grandchild, Harrison Brown; sister, Maudine Beamer; brother, Allen Schenk; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Richard (& Jeannie) Locati; sister-in-law, Dorothy Locati Averill; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Claudine is preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Locati; son, Andrew Locati; and son-in-law, Craig Downing.

Rosary services will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 6:00 PM at The Chapel of the Herring Funeral Home. Viewing will be from 3:00 PM till after the rosary. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Assumption Catholic Church. Interment will follow immediately after mass at Mountain View Cemetery, with a memorial reception following at St. Francis Church Hall around 1:00 PM.

Memorial will be celebrating both Claudine Locati and her son, Andrew Locati, who passed on May 4, 2025.
