Ciara Ann Ward

Ciara Ann Ward (Pee-Wee or Mini Bone) 24, of Walla Walla, WA. passed away at St. Mary's Medical Center in Walla Walla, WA. on October 25, 2018 surrounded by her family and her best friend.  Ciara lost her short hard fought battle with Stage 4 Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma that she was diagnosed with in May of 2018.

Ciara was born June 10, 1994 to Jeremy Vincent Ward and Tia Renee (Bierman) Ward. Ciara grew up in Walla Walla and attend Berney Elementary, Pioneer Middle School and graduated from Wa-Hi. Ciara loved music, animals, being in the mountains, her friends, everything witchy, crystals and mostly her family.

Ciara had been working in Colorado for a family as their live in Nanny before she passed. She was blessed to get this exceptional family in her life. She loved her job and those two boys West and Jack and their mom and dad Peter and Rebecca. In her free time Ciara enjoyed traveling, going to concerts, getting tattooed, hanging out with her beautiful, eclectic group of friends, going to raves and spending time with her parents. One of her biggest passions was being a counselor at Camp Amanda, as she had attended herself after the loss of her Uncle. She loved being able to give back to the campers what the camp and given to her.

Ciara is survived by her parents Jeremy and Tia Ward of Walla Walla. Brother Izaac Ewing of Walla Walla, maternal grandparents Howard and Sherrill (Brown) Bierman of Walla Walla, paternal grandparents Richard and Gloria (Craig) Lybecker of Medical Lake, WA. Best friend Cora Richey of Airway Heights, WA. Her chosen family; second mom Elizabeth Young of Walla Walla, sisters Patience Young and Juliet Young of Walla Walla; brothers Javier Gutierrez, Robert Frank JR, Salvador Gutierrez, Estaban Garcia and Boston Usko-Young all of Walla Walla.

Ciara was preceded in death by her aunt Stacy (Bierman) Funk, uncle Sean Vandenberg, great grandmother Nadyne (Kirk) Brown, great-grandfather Charles Bierman, great-grandmother Virginia (Fletcher) Craig, great-grandfather Lennis Craig and great-grandmother Carolyn (McGreevy) Lybecker.

Ciara's Celebration of Life will be held November 17, 2018 from 12:00-5:00PM at the Gesa Power House Theater in Walla Walla.
