Christopher Eugene Elliott

Christopher Eugene Elliott sadly left this world on Monday, June 23, 2014 at the age of thirty years young.

Christopher was born December 29th, 1983 in Santa Rosa, CA. A loving father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, cousin and friend, Christopher moved to Waitsburg in 1994. He attended Waitsburg schools.

Anyone who knew Christopher knew he would give anyone the shirt off his back if it made their day a little easier. He always quietly and subtly helped where he could. His genuine laugh was contagious. He loved his job at Valley Residential Services in Walla Walla working with clients so great that he considered his job “hanging out with friends.” He spent his spare time with his family at his home on the outskirts of Waitsburg where he enjoyed gardening, reading, and most of all, cooking. Being a father is what brought Chris the most joy in life and what gave him such pride.

Christopher is survived by his son, Owen Elliott; parents, Bill and Ruthy Elliott and the late Linda Elliott; siblings, Ben and Danica Bentley, Veronica Bentley and Lee Corn, Brian Moffitt, Stacey and Curtis Smith, Allie Moffitt and Isaac Olivo, Curtis Elliott, Shaelyn and Jason Edinger, Jessica Elliott, and Paul Elliott; grandparents, Dale and Flossie Huff, Bill and Donna Elliott, and Donna McCulloch. Christopher is preceded in death by his sister Shannon Elliott; brother, Casey Elliott; and niece, Athena Bentley.

A service will be held on July 5th, 2014 in Waitsburg at the baseball field at 7:00 pm.
