Charlie O. Warner, Sr., 77, passed away peacefully April 19, 2015, surrounded by his children.

Charlie was born on November 15, 1937, in Missouri to Frank and Ethel Warner. He was the youngest of seven children. Charlie grew up mostly in Missouri and Walla Walla and attended local schools. On October 16, 1968, he married Yvonne Marie White. His life was spent working to raise their five children. He worked for Jones Scott, Stone Machinery, Inland Machinery, the Washington State Penitentiary, and H&H International. Charlie was a hard worker and frequently took side jobs ensure his children were provided for. He loved each and every one of his thirteen grandchildren.

Charlie is survived by sons, Charlie Warner, Jr., Jim (Linda) Warner; daughters, Ginger (Bill) Heiser, Lucy (Jerry) Poirier, Stephanie Warner, all of Walla Walla; 13 grandchildren; and sister, Martha Logan, of Walla Walla; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Yvonne; brothers, Theron and Frank "Tex" Warner; sisters, Glory June Warner, Lucille Edinger, and Pat Donaldson.

The Rosary will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 6:30 PM at the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA. The Memorial Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 1:00 PM at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Brian Sattler, Celebrant. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Mountain Humane Society through the funeral home.
