Charlette Ann Duncan

Charlette Duncan, 78, a loving mother, sister and friend passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.
Charlette was born July 12, 1937, in Alexandria, La., to James and Lula Mae Millner Voorhies. Charlette was married to Carl Duncan and they had two children, Charles and Carolyn. Charlette was a caregiver
for many years and an avid volunteer in the community.
Her favorite pastimes were antiquing and playing Bingo with her friend Mavis.
She is survived by her children, Charles Duncan and Carolyn Duncan of Walla Walla; grandaughter, Breanna Duncan of Pasco; three sisters, Bobbie Jean Millner, Connie Millner both of Alexandria, La., and
Gertrude Spain of Walla Walla; brother, Jesse Voorhies of San Francisco; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband,Carl Duncan; four brothers and one sister.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016, at the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 18 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel
of the Herring Funeral Home with Chaplain Terry Rice, officiating. Interment will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Help Line through the funeral home. Family and Friends are invited to sign the online guestbook
