Carole Jean Wood-Hollenbaugh

On Thursday, June 23, 2022, Carole Jean Wood-Hollenbaugh, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away at 87.  Carole was born on July 9, 1934, in Seattle, WA, to Harry and Alice Miles.

On October 10, 1955, she married Darcey Lee Wood and raised three children together: Mathew, Barbara, and Mark.  Carole and Darcey loved to go gambling at Wildhorse Casino.  Darcey passed in 2000.  In 2004 she married Donald R. Hollenbaugh Sr.  They loved to play golf and billiards together.  She had many jobs during her life; she was an EMT, she volunteered for the Red Cross, she worked at Tomlinson’s Dari-Mart, and retired as a retail clerk from Safeway.

Carole is survived by her husband, Don; her three children; and various grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Alice Miles; a sister; two brothers; and a granddaughter, Chelsi Wood.

A graveside service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery on Friday, July 8, 2022, at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Ron Alexander of the Cowboy Church presiding.
