Candelario Garcia Castillo, Jr.

July 21, 1956 — October 23, 2014

Candelario passed away peacefully at
his home on Oct. 23, 2014. He was born
in Walla Walla on July 21, 1956, to Candelario
Sr. and Elisa Castillo.

Between 1975 and the early 80s, he worked for the
Union Pacific Railroad, he really enjoyed this job. His
favorite pastime was spending quality time with his
family and friends. He loved to share all his life stories
and was a very good at it. He really enjoyed his
music and loved to dance. Another one of his favorite
pastimes was watching TV, he enjoyed Western movies
and loved the Animal Planet Channel.

Cande is survived by his mother, Elisa Castillo; two
daughters, Monica and Megan Castillo; a son, Robert
Dawson of Marysville, Wash.; four grandchildren,
Dakota, Alexander, Mason, and Annaleigh; two sisters,
Maria and Lucia; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; brother; sister;
and a granddaughter.

Viewing will be at 2 p.m. with Rosary recited at 6
p.m., on Oct. 29, both at the Herring Funeral Home.
Funeral service at St. Patrick’s Church at 10 a.m. on
Oct. 30. Burial service will follow at the Mountain
View Cemetery on 2nd Street.
