Betty Louise Zaro

Betty passed away at home with her loving family by her side on September 29, 2012.

She was born on February 5, 1944 to Tony & Louise Fetters Brown. She married Nick Zaro on August 5, 1978 in Dayton, Washington.

She was a meat wrapper at Wades Thriftway for 10 years. Her favorite hobbies were spending time with her family, crafts, playing Bingo, slot machines & travel.

She is survived by her husband, Nick Zaro, at the home; 3 children, Destry Zaro of Walla Walla, Cindy Hill of Port Orchard, and Jim Golz of Port Orchard; her mother, Louise Brown of wAlla Walla; 4 sisters, Gerry Flynn of Spokane, Jeanette (Wes) Carney of Walla Walla, Gail Ringering of College Place & Sue (Rob) Farris of Yakima; 2 brothers-in-law; 4 sisters-in-law; 9 grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Tony Brown, 1 niece & 1 brother-in-law.

The Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 2:30 PM at Mountain View Cemetery with Rev. Steve Morris officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Walla Walla Community Hospice or St. Mary Regional Cancer Center through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA.
