Fire Department and then went to work for the city’s
police department, ultimately retiring as its code enforcement
officer. Eirgil also had his own business
as an electrician — Smitty’s Electric. He has wired
many a home in Walla Walla. His hobbies included
restoring old cars and at one time he owned a fully
