Barbara Lee Dodd, 84, died June 11, 2015. Barbara was born on February 16, 1931 to Marie and Jack Norris in Walla Walla, Washington.
She graduated from Walla Walla High School then shortly after married Vern Russell and had 3 children, Mark, Craig, and Cheryl (Stewart). They later divorced.
In 1973, she married Delbert Dodd Sr., and resided in Touchet. Together they traveled around the United States, worked together at running an antique business in the country (Countryside Antiques), volunteered at Ft. Walla Walla, and donated various artifacts to the museum. She loved antiques, gardening, nature and the various animals she came into contact with in the country, especially her cats.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Delbert Sr.; sons, Mark and Craig (Nadya); daughter, Cheryl (Craig); step daughter, Patsy Heimgartner; step son, Delbert Dodd Jr. (Cathy), 8 Grandchildren, and 6 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Diane Collier, and by her parents.
Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery 2120 S 2nd Ave, Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 9:30 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Mountain Humane Society, or the charity of your choice through the Herring Groseclose Funeral home.
