Austin Ray Bissonnett

Austin Ray Bissonnett, 3 months, unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014, from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

He was the precious son of Shannon Potter and Barron Bissonnett of Walla Walla. In addition to his parents, Austin is survived by his older sister, Kendra Potter. He is also survived by his grandparents, Mike and Kathy Potter of Walla Walla, Tom and Mary Mooney of Pendleton, and Scott and Jeffrey Bissonnett of Yakima; his uncles, Gary (Rochelle) Potter and Jay (Kyla) Potter of Olympia, Josh (Lacey) Potter of Kennewick, Joey (Amanda) Potter of Portland, and Charlie Potter of Walla Walla; his aunts, Justine Potter of Denver, Alicia Anderson of Hermiston, Sarah Knowles and Shantel Mooney of Pendleton; great grandparents, Carol Franklin and Shirley MacMurdo of Walla Walla, Leroy and Opal Potter of Kettle Falls, Rose Kautz of Hermiston, and Rose and Ron Bissonnett of Burns, Oregon; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sheryl Hurley; his uncle, Craig Potter; and his cousins, Hanna Potter and Nicolai Schurman; his great-grandfathers, Ron Franklin, Bill MacMurdo and Kenneth Kautz.

The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Herring Groseclose Funeral Home on Thursday, May 8, 2014, with Pastor Fred Palmer of Valley Church officiating. The family asks that memorial contributions may be made to the Northwest Infant Survival and SIDS Alliance.
