Audrey Ann Brewer

Audrey Brewer passed away on Sept. 6, 2011 in Walla Walla, Washington.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at Blue Mountain Community Church in Walla Walla. Rose Wetherell and Debbie Peterson will officiate. Private interment (family and close friends) will follow the service. Public visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 15, and Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Herring-Groseclose Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Audrey Brewer Trust Fund through the Herring-Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W Alder, Walla Walla, WA 99362

Audrey was born Dec. 15, 1992, to Tanya Elaine Brewer and Bert Lewis Brewer. She attended area schools, including Sharpstein and Berney, Pioneer Middle School and Walla Walla High School. At the time of her death, she was working toward her GED.

She learned to sew through her involvement in 4-H and became a talented seamstress; she often made her own clothes, including her own prom dress. She also made several of the costumes for the 2010 production of the operetta “Cendrillon” at WWCC. She loved her
family, was a faithful friend, and was very protective of her siblings. Recently she had been attending Solid Rock Christian Fellowship Center.

Audrey is survived by her parents, Bert and Tanya Brewer of Walla Walla; brother, Nathan; sister, Monica; grandparents, Roland and Shirley Frank of Walla Walla, Bruce and Beulah Brewer of Walla Walla; great-grandparents, George and Dorothy Abenroth of
Walla Walla; several uncles, aunts and cousins.
